Habbo Hotel Happenings October 24 2001
IT'S A MUG'S JOB
And you haven't got to do it! I refer of course to the millions (OK, that might be an exaggeration, but there are quite a few) of private rooms offering jobs. Might seem like a fab idea at the time, but have a little think before you sign up for a lifetime of toil. Some Habbos offer jobs and say they will pay you with furniture. Some actually do, but the sad fact is that most don't, so you will be working for nothing. Other Habbos ask you to give them a piece of furniture to get a job. Now come on - do people generally pay money to get a job IRL? Only when the job isn't real and the people are being scammed... Same goes for Habbo Hotel - if you have to pay to get a job, it's a scam. So, get a job by all means, but don't expect to get paid and NEVER EVER give anyone a piece of furniture to get a job.
Report all Habbos who you think are scamming in this way to a Hobba - nab one or use the Call for help. All scammers will be dealt with and we won't take any prisoners...
SOAP STARS IN HABBO HOTEL
Forget EastEnders, ignore Crossroads, switch off Hollyoaks - Habbo Hotel has its own rival to these staid soaps... Habboration Street! is the online answer to all of the above and more. With gripping storylines (well the one I watched was good) and credible characters, it's unmissable. Pop down to the room of the same name and escape for ten minutes. Check the Stickie for show times - if you're early, you can see the set and maybe even meet the cast! (Habboration Street! is brought to you by Debzy, UKSpike, ???babe??? and xxxAQUAxxx. Guys - your 15 minutes of fame start now...)
That's all from me this week - if you've got any ideas about what you'd like to see in the hotel, or any comments on this newsletter, please email me.
